Path planning of cooperating industrial robots using evolutionary algorithms

In recent years carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP) have gained enormous popularity in aircraft applications. Since the material is very expensive, costs to be saved through an automated production. For manufacturing of large structures it often advisable use cooperating robots. However, a major problem for economic complex components programming robot paths. Manual teach-in no feasible solution and therefore decides if production profitable. this work, system presented which automatically calculates paths using evolutionary algorithms. The proposed allows, reduce commissioning time drastically changes process can made without great effort by changing component data.
